Three-time European champions Manchester United have reportedly made a big move in their bid to keep star player Paul Pogba at the club beyond this summer.

Manchester United are in serious danger of losing Pogba to another club this season after the French player was linked with an exit.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner talked up a possible move to Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid earlier this year as he described it as a dream transfer.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has spoken to reporters about his compatriot in his recent press conferences.

Pogba has also been linked with a move back to Italian champions Juventus whom he spent four years with.

According to the publication from popular media channel ESPN, Manchester United want to do everything possible to retain the player’s services ahead of next season.

It was revealed that the Red Devils want to offer him the captain’s armband in their quest to secure his services for the new campaign scheduled to start on August 9.

Pogba has two years left on his current deal at Manchester United with the option of another year.

He returned to Manchester United in 2016 in a then world-record fee of around £89m.
