Eight points from eight games — that’s the best and fastest way to describe how poor things are going at Old Trafford.

The players lack character on the field of play and the whole team lack inspirational goalscorer whose goals will be enough to win matches.

Reports making the headlines in almost all British media suggest that a defeat to Liverpool in the next Premier League fixture could mean the end of Solskjaer’s tenure at Old Trafford because the board members are currently searching for his replacement.

In fact, the latest report emanating from the Theatre of Dreams via the Daily Mail claimed that RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann is being approached by the club over the possibility of replacing Solskjaer.

Nagelsmann, 32, who is Bundesliga’s youngest coach, is doing well with Die Roten Bullen outfit and he’s tipped to become the next United manager.

Since joining RB Leipzig in the summer on a five-year contract deal, Nagelsmann has managed to win more matches than United and his men are just two points off the league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.

However, it could turn out to be mere speculation as Manchester United board wouldn’t want to hire another inexperienced manager, having seen how things have turned out under Solskjaer who has a little managerial experience before replacing José Mourinho.
