The emerging reports claim that West London outfit Chelsea star Olivier Giroud is being wanted at the French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
Olivier Giroud has complained severally of his lack of playing time at the Stamford Bridge but that has been argued by manager Maurizio Sarri who insisted that the former Arsenal forward has gotten enough playing time.
However, OGC Nice are keen to take advantage of the situation to land the World Cup winner as soon as the summer transfer window is opened, with claims that they will step forward with a bid in coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud has not been in good goalscoring form as he is the reason why the team is known to have a lack of cutting edge in their attack because of his unsatisfactory performance. This has been attributed to the reason why the Italian boss has refused to hand him more playing time.
Howbeit, manager Maurizio Sarri is keen to keep Olivier Giroud and every other player at the Stamford Bridge owing to the transfer ban which has been handed to the club that will not allow them to register any new player for the next two windows.
