Barcelona manager Luis Enrique, who is one of Chelsea’s reported replacement for Antonio Conte, is set to join Arsenal in the summer as the Blues have reportedly pulled out of the race for his signature.

The former Catalans manager is heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge next season but that could end up being a mere speculation as the Spaniard is currently considering making a surprising move to the Emirates stadium after Wenger’s desire to step down as the Gunners boss by the end of the season.

According to reports emanating from the West London Club, the Blues board of directors have decided to turn their attention to another manager due to Enrique’s temperament in dealing with his players.

The reports further suggest that Juventus manager maximiliano Allegri, who is set to end his spell at Turin in the summer, Thomas Tuchel, Brendan Rodgers and Maurizio Sarri have all been tipped to takeover Blues coaching Job but it remains unknown who will finally get the nod to occupy the space which will be vacated by Antonio Conte.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenge, on Friday, revealed his plan to resign from being the Gunners manager by the end of the season.

Having faced with lots of criticism from fans throughout the season, the Frenchman is now set to move away from the Emirates stadium where he has managing since 1996.

As part of their early search for Wenger’s replacement, Arsenal board of directors have reportedly made an official approach to Luis Enrique and it is believed they might end up hiring him in the summer.
