According to French news outlet RMC Sport, Premier League outfit, Manchester United are keen to sign Lille midfielder Boubakar Soumare.
It was revealed that Manchester United scouts were in attendance to run the rule over the player during the UEFA Champions League (UCL) clash between Lille and Valencia last week.
Manchester United representatives watched the player in action as Lille played out a 1-1 draw at home to Spanish La Liga giants Valencia in their Group H clash in the Champions League.
The Red Devils are not the only club monitoring the young French midfielder.

Merseyside giants Everton were interested in the French u-21 international player during this summer’s transfer window but nothing came out of it.
Apart from Everton, the Lille midfielder was also touted as a possible transfer addition for Europa League campaigners Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Italian Serie A champions Juventus also had an interest in him.
Boubakar Soumare has been linked with a move to Manchester United for the better part of the last month ahead of the resumption of the transfer market next year.
Manchester United have lost some midfielders this year and they are keen to bolster their squad in that area when the transfer market reopens.
