Five Manchester United players won’t feature during the Europa League clash with Serbian side Partizan Belgrade.

Manchester United and Partizan Belgrade meet in a Matchday 5 clash and the quintet of David De Gea, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe won’t play for the Red Devils due to various injuries.

The five players were not part of the 20-man squad that traveled to Belgrade for the Europa League game.

David De Gea will miss the match as a result of the groin injury sustained during the international break.

The first choice Manchester United shot-stopper got injured during the Euro 2020 qualifier between hosts Sweden and Spain.

He went off injured during the game which saw Spain qualify for the 2020 European Championship via a 1-1 draw with Sweden.

De Gea was a doubt for the weekend’s league game with Liverpool with the same injury but he was able to recover to feature in the Premier League clash which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Young defender Axel Tuanzebe suffered a hip problem during the warm-up for the Liverpool game and was replaced by Marcos Rojo in the starting XI.

Axel Tuanzebe is expected to return to the Manchester United squad for the Norwich City clash in the Premier League.

The likes of Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic are expected to return to fitness at the start of next month.
