Should Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp listen to advice coming from the club legend, John Aldridge, then Naby Keita and Adam Lallana would be dropped from the Reds team.
This is after the two players fail to impress in their last Premier League game against West Ham United which ended in a 1-1 draw and caused the Reds to lose two points.
The draw was the second of its kind in 7 days for Liverpool after the 1-1 draw against Leicester City at the Anfield.
The two Liverpool players were made to start the game against West Ham but were unable to keep hold and provide that cover for James Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum who are both injured.
However, John Aldridge stated that aside from the defenders who are away, Liverpool failed to win the West Ham United game because they lacked good midfielders.
He noted that the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino will always give the club a cutting edge but they lacked the midfield to give the balance and connect.
John Aldridge, therefore, stated that the two players should not be allowed to play together again no matter what the situation is as they will not deliver good performance.
