Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford ended his goal drought after he found the back of the net for the Three Lions of England during their thumping win over Bulgaria in their Euro 2020 qualifier on Monday night.

Rashford was one of the goalscorers as England banished the memories of the defeat to Czech Republic in their last Euro 2020 qualifier to produce an emphatic victory at the home of the Bulgarians.

The 1966 FIFA World Cup winners suffered their first loss in a qualifying game for a decade with the 2-1 away loss to the Czechs and they were able to bounce back at the first time of asking with the thumping 6-0 win over the Bulgarians away from home.

Marcus Rashford scored the opening goal of the game to end his barren run in front of goal.

His wonderful strike came after seven minutes as he ended the run of six games without a goal for both club and country.

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley added the second goal in the 20th minute before he completed his brace twelve minutes later.

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling added a fourth goal on the stroke of halftime to give England a 4-0 win at the interval.

Sterling added his second goal in the second half before team skipper Harry Kane wrapped up the scoring for the visitors.
