Manchester United’s hope of signing Napoli’s highly-rated defender Kalidou Koulibaly has suffered a huge blow as the player debunked all transfer rumors linking him to Old Trafford.
Well-regarded football site Goal confirmed that the Red Devils are desperate to have the player before 2020-21 season begins despite the fact they have failed to convince the player on countless occasions.
Unfortunately for the Red Devils, the player has voiced his desire to remain with the Serie A giants beyond next season because he’s dreaming of winning many trophies with the club.

The 28-year-old, who is listed among United’s top transfer targets, told reporters that he’s happy at Napoli and he’s ready to help Ancelotti win many laurels during his stay at the Napolitano Stadium.
“I’m used to it,” he stated in regards to the transfer talk. “So many [stories] come out each day, which say I’m leaving. Right now, my only objective is to win with Napoli. I don’t care about the rest.”
This will come as bad news to Solskjaer whose mission is to find a solid and quality centre-back who will partner Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence next year.
