Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed the player that he would like to play with via his official Twitter handle.

Cesc Fabregas said that he would love to play behind Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane before adding that the Senegalese international star is one of the top three players in the world.

The Spanish international was at Chelsea until January 2019 when he joined French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.

Cesc Fabregas praised the quality of Sadio Mane following his performance for Liverpool in their Champions League clash with Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg.

Sadio Mane scored one of the goals as Liverpool beat Red Bull Salzburg 4-3 in what was a Matchday Two clash.

He scored the opening goal of the game before Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson added a second goal.

Egyptian international Mohamed Salah added a third goal for the hosts on 36 minutes before Hwang Hee-Wan pulled one back three minutes later.

Takumi Minamoto and Erling Haaland completed the turnaround for Red Bull Salzburg in the second half only for Liverpool to score the seventh and the winning goal of the game courtesy the aforementioned Salah.

Liverpool were able to bounce back from their Matchday One loss at the hands of Napoli.
