Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has singled out one player from Lille as the two clubs prepare to face off in the Champions League.

Lille will host former champions Chelsea in one of the Matchday Two fixtures scheduled to take place on Wednesday night.

In his pre-match presser ahead of the game, Frank Lampard praised the quality of the Lille players though he was quick to point out that experience is on the side of Chelsea.

Frank Lampard went on to mention Lille striker Loic Remy whom he played with while was on the playing personnel payroll at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard and Chelsea warmed up for the Lille game with a straightforward victory at home to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League at the weekend.

Chelsea scored two second-half goals to secure their first win of this campaign at home after four previous attempts.

Jorginho (penalty) and Willian got the goals for Chelsea.

The win was enough to take Chelsea into the top seven places on the Premier League table.

On their part, Lille warmed up for the visit of Chelsea with a 1-1 draw at the home of OGC Nice.

Both Chelsea and Lille lost their first group game in the Champions League this season.
