Mesut Ozil could leave Arsenal before the transfer window ends on September 2.
The news was gathered after the former German player was left out of Unai Emery’s squad that suffered a 3-1 defeat to current Champions League holder, Liverpool.
The 30-year-old midfielder was fit and available for selection but Unai Emery chose not to play him instead.
Mesut Ozil has struggled to start a game for Arsenal since Unai Emery replaced Wenger as Gunners manager.
The experience midfielder also missed Arsenal’s opening game against Newcastle after he was involved in a car hijacking incident with Kolasinac.

Although Mesut Ozil was seen in training after Arsenal won against Newcastle, he did not feature in the squad that defeated Burnley due to illness – however, he recovered ahead of the clash against Liverpool but was ignored by Unai Emery which has put his future in doubt.
When Unai Emery was asked why Mesut Ozil did not play, the Gunnars boss hinted that Mesut Ozil was not ready to play.
“The players here are the ones we think were the best physically to play today,” Unai Emery said.
Ozil omission has put his Gunnars future in doubt but we predict he will encounter difficulties getting a club that will pay his high wages he commands at Emirates.
