Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez has thrown his future at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu into further doubt after he admitted that he’s not sure of a Real Madrid stay beyond this summer.
The 27-year-old talked about his future at Real Madrid in a recent interview monitored by popular Spanish media outlet Marca.
James Rodriguez has been linked with several European sides this summer including newly crowned Champions League winners Liverpool.
The Colombian international star is presently on international duty with his national team at the ongoing COPA America tournament in Brazil.

James Rodriguez and Colombia are in the quarterfinals at the tournament where they will meet defending champions Chile for the right to qualify for the semifinals.
His future won’t be resolved until after the COPA America tournament.
The Real Madrid player spent the last two seasons on loan at German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich who paid £11m for his loan spell.
He signed for the Bavarian giants on a two-year loan deal until this summer with the option for a permanent transfer for £36m but the Germans decided not to take up that option.
Apart from Liverpool, James Rodriguez has been linked with other clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and the Italian Serie A duo of Juventus and Napoli.
