Charlie Nicholas Makes Surprise Prediction For Wolves Versus Chelsea
Former Arsenal and Celtic striker Charlie Nicholas has made a surprise prediction for the Premier League clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chelsea at the Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
Charlie Nicholas is a footballer turned pundit and the ex-Scottish international star made his prediction for the Premier League week five clash between Wolves and Chelsea while he was on Sky Sports.
According to him, Wolves will repeat the 2-1 home win recorded from the corresponding fixture last season.
In the last campaign, Wolves recorded their first win over a top-six club after they came from a goal down at the halftime interval.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek had given Chelsea a first half lead before Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota scored in the second half to hand the hosts the three points on offer.
Wolves qualified for the Europa League as a result of the seventh-placed finish at the end of the last Premier League campaign but they have not been able to match the heights of last season and Charlie Nicholas believes that they will repeat the same 2-1 result against Chelsea.
According to him, the Wolves attack of the likes of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota would be too much for the Chelsea defense.

Other midfielders like Jorginho, Ross Barkley, N’Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are all ahead of Marco van Ginkel in the pecking order.
