English Premier League outfit Liverpool are reported to be waiting until the coming summer window for the signature of PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn after missing out of his signature in the winter window that just ended.

It is claimed that the league leaders Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the 21-year-old and will be ready to do all it takes to land him at the Anfield ahead of the coming season.

It would be recalled that the German boss gave the hint that his he would not be adding any player to his squad in the last winter transfer window but will wait until the coming summer transfer window because he is happy with his squad.

However, the wait might not be worth it for the Reds as their bitter rivals Man United are already making moves to snap up Steven Bergwijn as well in the coming summer.

The report hints that they are monitoring the situation with the star player and will therefore submit a bid for him as soon as the summer window approaches.

Steven Bergwijn is understood to be on the top list of targets for the Red Devils for the coming summer transfer window.
