Manchester United are reportedly set to spend big in the winter transfer window despite spraying huge cash on Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka prior to the start of the season.

The Red Devils haven’t been in their best form despite the three new signings, so much to the disappointment of fans and football pundits across the world.

However, under-fire manager Solskjaer is on the lookout for more players who will help boaster his attacking department in the second period of the campaign.

According to the Sun, the Red Devils manager has picked up interest in RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, Lyon’s Moussa Dembele and Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff.

The media outlet reported that the Glazers are willing to release over £90m to sign the three players as they hope to see the team return to winning ways as soon as possible.

Timo Werner was initially tipped to be heading to Liverpool in the summer but Jurgen Klopp was in no hurry to add more attackers to the deadly frontline.

United approached Longstaff over a possible switch to the Theatre of Dreams during the summer but the young midfielder turned down their offer to remain at the St James’ Park.

As for in-form Dembele who has scored six goals so far, United scouts have watched the 23-year-old played on three occasions and they are ready to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams in January.
