Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a bid for highly rated Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have concluded plans to make a bid for Longstaff who’s one of their midfield targets.
Sean Longstaff has emerged as a top midfield priority for Manchester United on the back of his impressive performances for Newcastle United last season.
The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Newcastle United before he made his debut for the Magpies against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.
Longstaff had earlier spent loan periods at English League One club Blackpool and Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock before his debut for the Magpies at the start of last season.

The young Newcastle United midfielder made 13 appearances for his club in all competitions last season including 9 league games.
Sean Longstaff scored one goal in nine Premier League games in the last campaign.
Newcastle United are reluctant to sell their Academy graduate but they might be forced to sell if they receive more than £50m for him as confirmed by the aforementioned report.
The Magpies have already lost the services of manager Rafael Benitez and leading goalscorer Ayoze Perez from last season and the idea of selling fan’s favourite Sean Longstaff is almost unthinkable at the club.
