Serie A: What Gonzalo Higuain Said About Ronaldo

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has praised the quality of club teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in his latest interview with Fox Sports.

According to him, Cristiano Ronaldo is more mature in comparison to their time at Spanish club Real Madrid.

Ronaldo and Higuain were teammates at Real Madrid until the latter left the Spanish La Liga leaders to join Italian Serie A giants Napoli.

Gonzalo Higuain spent three seasons at Napoli before he signed for Italian rivals Juventus in the summer of 2016.

Juventus paid £75m to sign Higuain from fellow Champions League campaigners Napoli.

He was sent out on loan to AC Milan shortly after Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid last summer in a club-record deal.

Higuain joined AC Milan on a season-long loan before he cut short that loan deal to sign for Premier League giants Chelsea on a six-month loan contract.

He returned to Juventus this summer after his unsuccessful loan spell at Stamford Bridge.

Gonzalo Higuain is back in the same team with Cristiano Ronaldo following his return to Juventus.

Higuain and Ronaldo are expected to feature for Juventus this weekend in their league clash with SPAL.

Ronaldo missed the midweek win over hosts Brescia due to an injury.
