Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and his players were deservedly beaten by an impressive Paris Saint Germain (PSG) team in their Champions League Group A clash on Wednesday night.
Zidane and his players didn’t produce a shot on target as they were beaten 3-0 by the French champions at the end of the game played at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
Former Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria was the star of the game after the Argentine international star scored a brace.
Di Maria stepped up for PSG in the absence of the attacking trio of Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani and Neymar.
Mbappe and Cavani missed the game as a result of injury, while Neymar was suspended for the French giants’ Champions League opener.
Angel Di Maria got his goals in the first half before PSG right-back Anthony Meunier wrapped up the points for the French capital club.
In the pick of the bunch, Atletico Madrid came from two goals down to seal a point against visitors Juventus via a 2-2 draw.
Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi gave the Italian champions a two-nil lead before the home team fought back through goals from Stefan David and summer signing Hector Herrera as the two teams settled for a point.
