Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly still keen on a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.

According to the publication from the Spanish newspaper Marca, Zidane wants to sign Pogba but Real Madrid have been put off by the £180m price tag slammed on the player by Manchester United.

Paul Pogba has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid throughout the summer but it seems like the Frenchman will stay at Manchester United after the European transfer window ends on the 2nd of September.

French World Cup winner Pogba has a big fan in Zinedine Zidane but the Real Madrid manager is limited in his quest to sign the Manchester United midfielder.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen and Ajax Amsterdam star Donny Van Der Beek are alternatives to Paul Pogba in the event that Real Madrid manager Zidane wants to sign a midfielder before the transfer window closes at the start of next month.

Recent reports also claimed that Real Madrid could sign Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon FC of Portugal.

According to popular media outlet Goal, Real Madrid have slapped a price tag of €80m on Bruno Fernandes who has been the subject of interest from other clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
