French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have demanded a player-plus-cash deal for their best player Neymar according to the latest reports emanating from the media.

Neymar has publicly talked about moving back to Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona this summer and the Catalans are in talks with PSG over his transfer.

According to the specific publication from Goal, PSG have demanded for two players and €50m for Neymar.

It was revealed that the French giants have asked for Philippe Coutinho and Nelson Semedo plus the aforementioned transfer fee for Neymar.

Their stance had changed on the asking price for Neymar in recent days as the transfer window edges closer.

The European transfer market shuts at the start of September.

PSG had earlier demanded for the £200m (€222m) spent on him when they signed the Brazilian attacker in 2017.

The French champions activated his release clause at Barcelona to sign him two years ago.

Long-term Manchester United target Neymar spent four years at Barcelona and he is keen to return to the club after spending two years in the French capital of Paris.

It remains to be seen whether Barcelona would be able to re-sign the PSG attacker by saying YES to their demand.
