Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona and French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have finally agreed to a deal for wantaway attacker Neymar.

This is according to the publication from the stables of popular media outlet ESPN which claimed that the only thing left for the Neymar deal to go through is the payment structure.

PSG attacker Neymar is keen to return to Barcelona after spending four years at the club until 2017 when he left for Paris in a record deal of €220m.

Barcelona have signed several players this summer from Antoine Griezmann to Neto to Junior Firpo to Frankie De Jong and they spent a whopping sum of €239m on those transfers and that has impacted on their financial situation as regards the signing of Neymar.

Barcelona have agreed a fee believed to be around €170m with PSG for Neymar according to the aforementioned publication but the French Ligue 1 giants want the transfer fee paid upfront.

The Spaniards had offered an upfront payment of €40m this year plus €65m payment in each of the next two years but the Barcelona offer was turned down by PSG.

On a move for Neymar, Barcelona’s technical secretary Javier Bordas said the transfer is edging closer to completion after multiple meetings.
