Guardiola spoke about Manchester United in his post-match press conference after the Community Shield win over Liverpool.
Manchester City and Liverpool played out a 1-1 draw before the Premier League champions triumphed via a 5-4 win during the shootout.
All the players were successful with their spot-kicks except Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum who handed Manchester City a second successive Community Shield title as a result.
After the game, Guardiola was asked about the challengers to the top two Manchester City and Liverpool.
In his response, Pep Guardiola stated that Manchester United would be a big threat to the top two.
Also, the Manchester City boss said that the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea will also be a threat for the Premier League title.
