Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has regretted his decision to stay at the club for this season according to the publication from popular Spanish newspaper AS.

Pogba believes that he should have forced a move away from the club this summer amidst the strong interest from Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and Italian Serie A champions Juventus.

Paul Pogba had earlier granted a controversial interview while he was on the tour of Japan with Adidas in June.

During that interview, the French World Cup winner said it was time for him to seek a new challenge.

Pogba wanted to leave Manchester United this summer but the Red Devils were determined to not let their star player leave this summer.

Manchester United slammed an asking price of £180m thus making it difficult for the aforementioned interested clubs to sign him.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of Paul Pogba but the Frenchman was expecting his compatriot to force a move away from Manchester United.

Paul Pogba has three days left to leave Manchester United as the European transfer market ends on the 2nd of September.

The Frenchman is almost certain to stay at Manchester United for this season with Real Madrid finding it difficult to secure a transfer for him.
