Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had his say on the missed penalty from Marcus Rashford during the disappointing penalty loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Crystal Palace secured a first league win at Manchester United for the first time in three decades with a 2-1 win thereby recording their first victory of the new Premier League season.

After the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talked about the missed penalty while he was fielding questions from reporters.

He was asked about the penalty miss from Marcus Rashford during his post-match presser.

According to him, he doesn’t want to get caught up in the penalty drama involving Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba before adding that penalties are there to be scored and missed as well.

Former Manchester United striker Solskjaer also revealed that he missed several penalties during his successful football career.

Marcus Rashford is in the spotlight after he missed a second half penalty which hit the inside of the crossbar.

Manchester United were one-nil down at that point thanks to the first half strike from Jordan Ayew.

The Red Devils equalized through a wonderful goal from summer signing Daniel James before Patrick Van Aanholt won it for Crystal Palace in added time.

Paul Pogba also missed a second half penalty during the league game at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.
