Juventus have signed two more central defenders to heighten the competition for places amongst the center-back options at the club.
The Old Lady signed Turkish player Merih Demirel from fellow Italian Serie A club Sassuolo for a fee believed to be around €18m.
Juventus then went on to sign highly-rated Dutch international Matthijs De Ligt in a big-money move to take the center-back’s options at the club to five.
The Old Lady won the race to sign De Ligt ahead of other clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona, Manchester City, French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and reigning European champions Liverpool.
