Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his new skipper for the 2019/20 season.
According to him, Ashley Young will be the new Manchester United captain ahead of the new season which will start in five days time.
England international Ashley Young will replace Antonio Valencia as the Manchester United captain after the Ecuadorian international left the club at the end of last season.
Valencia ended his 10-year stay at Old Trafford earlier this summer after his Manchester United contract came to an end.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talked about his new captain during his post-match press conference after the International Champions Cup (ICC) meeting with seven-time European champions AC Milan.
Solskjaer and his Manchester United players had won all their preseason games before the Milan clash.
Manchester United won the friendly games against clubs like Perth Glory FC of Australia, English Championship club Leeds United, Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan, Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Kristiansund FC of Norway.
The Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw with AC Milan before the former English champions won the game on penalties.
Solskjaer and Manchester United will start their Premier League campaign at home to top-four rivals Chelsea on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
