Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has signed a new long-term contract at the club to ward off the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the club.
The news of his contract extension was confirmed by the official Twitter handle of Manchester United earlier on Friday.
Andreas Pereira joined the Manchester United Academy during the 2011/12 season and he went on to spend different loan spells at two Spanish clubs.
The 23-year-old spent some time on loan at Spanish clubs Granada and Valencia in the past.
Champions League campaigners Valencia had Andreas Pereira in their playing squad for the 2017/18 season.

The Belgium-born Brazilian international impressed a great deal during his time at Valencia.
The La Liga club wanted to sign him last summer but the player stayed at Manchester United.
Apart from Valencia, Andreas Pereira was also linked with Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea.
Andreas Pereira made 35 appearances for Manchester United last season in what was his breakthrough campaign in his first full season with the first team at Old Trafford.
He scored his first goal for Manchester United last season during the 3-2 comeback win over Southampton at Old Trafford.
Andreas Pereira would be hoping for more involvement with the Manchester United team this season.
