North London giants Arsenal have won ten games in a row after they survived a scare from Leicester City to secure a 3 – 1 win over the Foxes in their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
Leicester City started the brighter of the two sides and were rightly rewarded shortly after the half hour mark when Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin scored an own goal off a cross-shot from Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell.
Arsenal captain Mesut Ozil equalised for the Gunners with a deft finish before substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came off the bench to score two goals and lead his side to victory.
Bernd Leno 7
Made a very good save to deny Maguire. He couldn’t do much for the Leicester City goal.
Hector Bellerin 8
Was unfortunate to concede an own goal. Provided two assists.
Shkrodan Mustafi 7
Struggled to contain the early Leicester City pressure. Improved after the half hour mark.
Rob Holding 6
Was fortunate not to concede a first half penalty
Stephan Lichtsteiner 5.5
The Swiss international right-back struggled at left-back before he was replaced by Matteo Guendouzi on 61 minutes.
Granit Xhaka 7
Surprisingly performed well when he moved from midfield to left-back.
Lucas Torreira 6.5
Did the basic things well. Not much of an influence like the last game against Fulham.
Mesut Ozil 9.5
The captain for the night produced a majestic performance for his team.
Alex Iwobi 9
He was very impressive for the Gunners. The Nigerian forward has really improved under manager Unai Emery.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan 6
Not his best game for Arsenal.
Alexandre Lacazette 7
Wasted several chances in the second half.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 9
Scored two goals immediately after coming on.
Matteo Guendouzi 7
The young midfielder impressed as a substitute.
Aaron Ramsey 5
Little time to impress
