German Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin are reportedly interested in a loan bid for Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson during this summer’s transfer window.

According to Goal, Arsenal want to sign Reiss Nelson on a temporary deal for another season after his successful loan period at fellow German top flight side TSG Hoffenheim last season.

Reiss Nelson impressed a great deal during his time at TSG Hoffenheim as he represented the club both in three German Bundesliga and the Champions League.

The young English attacker is back at Arsenal this summer and it has been rumoured that he could go out on loan again for the new season.

Recent reports claimed that Arsenal offered him to Premier League side Crystal Palace on loan as part of an offer to sign their star player Wilfried Zaha but the Gunners were rebuffed with that offer.

Arsenal offered £55m plus Reiss Nelson on loan and defender Carl Jenkinson.

The Gunners bid was turned down by Crystal Palace who are holding out for £80m for the winger.

For now, Reiss Nelson is with the Arsenal team in the United States for their pre-season tour as they step up preparations for the new campaign billed to start next month.
