Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan will reportedly make a new bid for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku this week.
This is according to Sky Sports which claimed that the Nerazzurri are still trying to reach an agreement with Manchester United who are open to the idea of letting Lukaku leave the club this summer as long as their valuation is met.
Lukaku is a top transfer target for Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte following his appointment earlier this summer.
The Belgian international star has already agreed on personal terms with Inter Milan and he’s waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
According to the aforementioned publication, Inter Milan will offer £60m plus bonuses this week.
Conte has been a long-term admirer of Lukaku whom he tried to sign for Chelsea during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Romelu Lukaku was on the books at Chelsea before he left on a permanent deal to fellow Premier League club Everton.
Conte wanted to bring him back to the club but he was unsuccessful after Lukaku joined Manchester United in 2017.
The Red Devils paid £75m for his transfer and he has scored 42 goals in all competitions since his move to Old Trafford.
