Premier League giants Manchester United have received a big transfer boost in their quest to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic during this summer’s transfer window.
The Red Devils want to sign the Serbian international star this summer and they have been encouraged to make a bid by Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
According to the Lazio supremo via Corriere dello Sport, it would be difficult to stop the club from letting the player leave if another team meets his asking price.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been slammed with the asking price of £87m.

The Lazio president narrated how he stopped the player from leaving the club last summer despite the serious interest from other major European sides before adding that it would be difficult to prevent the player from leaving again this summer.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the player this summer with recent reports claiming that the Red Devils are willing to offer £72m for him.
The Red Devils are in the market for midfielders following the exits of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera.
Marouane Fellaini joined Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang during the winter transfer window in January before Ander Herrera signed for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) this summer.
