The speculation surrounding the future of Liverpool star Xherdan Shaqiri has now been cleared after the player reacted to the rumour.
Xherdan Shaqiri joined the Merseyside outfit from Stoke City but has not had enough playing time compared to his former Club.
He played a role in Liverpool winning the Champions League title but he was an unused substitute in the game.
There were speculations that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season as a result of his lack of playing time but that has been dismissed by the former Stoke City player.

He made it clear that he is happy at Anfield and will not seek to leave the club, but he will look forward to helping the team with more success in the coming season.
Xherdan Shaqiri emphasized that he has a long-term contract with Liverpool and he will be staying to see it through.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had earlier made it clear that none of his players would be leaving the club in the summer transfer window.
He noted that he is happy with his team and will work hard to keep them together for next season’s challenge against Man City.
