Arsenal Facing Fight To Keep £55m Striker Amidst Chinese Offer

North London giants Arsenal will have to fend off the interest of Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG in star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang according to latest reports.
Gabonese international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been a key player for the Gunners since joining them from German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund last year.
He has spent a largely fruitful 18-month spell at Arsenal until now.
The North Londoners paid a club-record transfer fee of around £55m to secure his signing from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
The Times claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has an offer from Shanghai SIPG worth £300,000 on a weekly basis.

The lucrative offer from Shanghai SIPG would be a significant upgrade on his current salary at Arsenal.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang currently earns around £180,000 per week following the four-and-a-half year deal he signed upon joining the Gunners from 1997 Champions League winners Borussia Dortmund.
The former Saint Etienne player has been in superb form for Arsenal since his move from Borussia Dortmund during last season’s winter transfer window.
He has formed a potent strike partnership with fellow Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette since his transfer to Arsenal.
Aubameyang scored 31 goals in all competitions for the Gunners during the just concluded season including 22 Premier League goals which made him the Joint Golden Boot Winner alongside Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
