Mauro Icardi had a fallout with senior officials earlier this year and he was linked with a move to Manchester United.
The Argentine international striker has settled his issues with the Inter Milan officials and he was reinstated back into the first team some weeks ago.
Mauro Icardi has two years left to go on his current deal with the Nerazzurri and his camp always giving mixed signals on him staying or leaving the club this summer but the new development is a clear indication of his commitment to the Inter Milan cause for the long-term.
The former Barcelona and Sampdoria hitman has scored 16 goals for Inter Milan in all competitions this season.
Earlier reports claimed that Inter Milan are weighing up a big money move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku this summer as a possible replacement for the aforementioned Icardi though the latest development might force the Italians to change their minds.
