Premier League giants Arsenal are still far from the asking price for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez according to the latest reports coming out of the Spanish media.
Lucas Vazquez is surplus to requirements at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu this summer and the Gunners are interested in him.
According to trusted Spanish newspaper Marca, Arsenal have not been able to meet the €40m asking price for the player.
It was revealed that the Gunners have not moved near the asking price from Real Madrid.
Lucas Vazquez has been a fringe player at Real Madrid in recent seasons and his situation is expected to become worse due to the recent transfer splurge from the Los Merengues.

Real Madrid suffered a disappointing season in the last campaign and the Spanish La Liga giants have moved to correct the mistakes made ahead of the new season which starts next month.
Real Madrid have signed Eden Hazard (from Chelsea for an initial fee of €100m), Luka Jovic (from Eintracht Frankfurt for €60m) and Rodrygo Goes (from Santos for €50m) in the forward positions.
Lucas Vazquez could be the direct replacement for Danny Welbeck who left Arsenal this summer after his contract came to an end.
