Arsenal manager Unai Emery is confident that the Gunners will make a mark on the rest of the transfer window this summer.

The Spanish tactician assured the club’s fans that senior officials are working to deliver expensive signings before the end of the transfer window in three weeks’ time.

Unai Emery spoke about transfers during his post-match press conference after a youthful Arsenal team dispatched Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina with style at the 2019 edition of the International Champions Cup (ICC).

Arsenal were in devastating form as they dispatched Fiorentina 3-0 to record a second successive win at the preseason tournament.

young striker Eddie Nketiah was the star of the show after he netted twice either side of the halftime interval to give the Gunners a 2-0 lead before another young player Joe Willock added a third goal with few minutes left on the clock to give Arsenal a comprehensive victory.

Arsenal had earlier beaten German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich 2-1 in their first game at the International Champions Cup (ICC) this year with the aforementioned Nketiah getting the winning goal minutes after coming on as a second half substitute.

Eddie Nketiah has been in fantastic form for Arsenal during preseason after netting three goals and an assist in three preseason games.

Manager Search: How Arsenal Were Dealt Huge Blow

North London giants Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow in their quest to appoint a new manager following the news that top target Mikel Arteta won’t be available until the end of the season at least.

Arsenal were informed that Mikel Arteta won’t be available till the end of the season by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

The Manchester City boss made this known in his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the Manchester Derby clash with Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

According to him, Mikel Arteta is not going anywhere till the end of the season.

Mikel Arteta is a former Arsenal skipper and the Spaniard has been linked with a return to the Emirates Stadium in a managerial capacity.

He came close to bagging the Arsenal job last summer before senior club officials decided to give the position to Unai Emery but things didn’t work out for the former Valencia, Almeria and Sevilla manager.

Arsenal sacked Unai Emery last week Friday and the search for a new manager is on though club legend Freddie Ljungberg has been placed in charge of the team for now.

He has managed the team in the last two games.

Arsenal Star Pulls Out Of Contract Extension Talks

North London giants Arsenal have been rocked with the news that star player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has pulled out of talks over a new contract.

This is according to the publication from the Daily Mirror which revealed that Arsenal are in danger of losing their star player this summer unless they want to risk him walking out of the club for free.

Gabonese international Aubameyang will have one year left on his Arsenal deal at the end of this season and the Gunners won’t have any choice but to listen to offers for him next summer if his stance on a new contract remains the same.

Aubameyang is not ready to commit his long-term future to the Gunners since he’s not convinced that the team is on the right path.

Arsenal are in a distant 10th position on the table with just four wins from 15 games in the Premier League.

They are without a manager at the moment after the dismissal of Unai Emery.

Interim manager Freddie Ljungberg is in charge of the team but the club legend is unlikely to get the job full-time.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signed for Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018 and he has scored 52 goals for the club.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo is in the running for the Premier League Award for November’s Manager of the Month.

This is according to the four-man shortlist unveiled for the award on Friday.

Nuno Espirito Santo is a top target for the Gunners who are without a permanent manager at the moment.

Former Valencia, Almeria and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) manager Unai Emery lost his job at Arsenal following the run of games without a victory.

The sacked Arsenal boss led the team to a run of seven games without a win and that run has been extended to nine matches with two games more under caretaker manager and club legend Freddie Ljungberg.

Arsenal drew 2-2 with hosts Norwich City and also lost 2-1 at home to Brighton and Hove Albion to take the winless run to nine matches in all competitions.

Nuno Espirito Santo is seen as one of the top contenders to replace Unai Emery as the permanent Arsenal manager.

Interim Arsenal manager Freddie Ljungberg has not started well in his new role following the dismissal of Unai Emery at the end of last month.

Club legend Freddie Ljungberg was named the temporary manager at Arsenal in the wake of the sacking of Spanish tactician Unai Emery for poor results and he has recorded a solitary point from his two games in charge of the team ahead of the Hammers game.

That solitary point came in his managerial bow against Norwich City last weekend as the Gunners were only able to secure a 2-2 draw away from home against the league newcomers.

The Norwich City game was followed by the disappointing loss at home to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Gunners were beaten 2-1 by the Seagulls courtesy the late goal from French striker Neal Maupay.

Record signing Nicholas Pepe has started the two games under Freddie Ljungberg from the bench but he made a very good cameo during the second half of the Brighton game and that has almost certainly earned him a place in the Arsenal XI For the away game at West Ham United.

To say that North London giants Arsenal are having a poor season is a massive understatement and things could get uglier for the club ahead of their short trip to East London to face another struggling team in West Ham United.

Arsenal have just four wins from 15 league games this season and the Gunners are languishing in 10th position as a result.

They have 19 points from the 15 games played this season with a minus goal difference (-2).

The North Londoners suffered their fourth defeat of the current league season in the English top flight with the 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion at home on Thursday night and Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has predicted another defeat for the Gunners as they take on West Ham United on Monday night.

According to the ex-Liverpool defender, West Ham United will return to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the London Stadium.

West Ham United were also on the losing end in midweek following the 2-0 away loss to Europa League campaigners Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arsenal are on a winless run of seven games in the Premier League ahead of their meeting with the Hammers.

The last win came during the home game with Bournemouth which ended 1-0 with summer signing David Luiz getting the only goal of the game.

Arsenal, Liverpool Join Barcelona In Race To Sign Nigerian Attacker

Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the race to sign young Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi according to the latest reports emanating from the Spanish media.

Karim Adeyemi is on loan at Austrian second-tier Liefering where he has scored eight goals in 13 appearances.

According to Spanish media outlet SPORT, Arsenal and Liverpool have joined Barcelona in the race to sign the young attacker.

The 17-year-old joined Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg in July 2018 and he was then loaned to Liefering.

The Nigerian-born player has been able to paint Liefering with goals this season and that has attracted the interest of the biggest clubs in Spain, England and Germany.

Barcelona Academy director Patrick Kluivert is a big admirer of the player but he will have to contend with two Premier League teams namely Arsenal and reigning European champions Liverpool in the quest to sign the player.

German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also in the mix of the clubs keen to sign Karim Adeyemi who was signed for around £2m by Red Bull Salzburg last summer.

A recent report from the Daily Mail claimed that Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg rejected a transfer fee of £15m for him.

Former Premier League striker Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor is now a free agent after his contract with Turkish Super League side Kayserispor was terminated.

He had joined Kayserispor in the summer and went on to score two league goals in eight appearances for the Turkish club.

The Togolese international had more success with Istanbul Basaksehir FC of Turkey where he scored 24 league goals.

North London giants Arsenal have concluded plans to recall young striker Eddie Nketiah from his loan spell at English Championship outfit Leeds United.

According to the Daily Mail, Eddie Nketiah will leave Leeds United when the transfer window reopens in the coming days after manager Marcelo Bielsa failed to give him a lot of playing time as expected.

Eddie Nketiah came through the ranks at Arsenal before he made his debut for the first team.

The England junior international joined Leeds United on loan from Arsenal in the summer.

Since joining Leeds United, Eddie Nketiah has scored five goals in 13 appearances with a lot of his playing time coming as a substitute.
