Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly been linked with a shock move for Aston Villa playmaker Scott McGinn this summer.
This is according to the publication from The Sun which revealed that the Red Devils are interested in a deal for Scott McGinn who’s rated at around £50m by his club Aston Villa.
Manchester United are keen to sign a new midfielder this summer and they have targeted Scottish international McGinn who was crucial to the Premier League promotion achieved by Aston Villa at the end of last season.
John McGinn became an Aston Villa player last summer following his move from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

The 24-year-old signed for the Midland clubs in a deal reported to be around £3.75m.
Aston Villa are ready to offer him a new contract to further secure his long-term future at the club on the back of his stellar performances and to also ward off the interest of Manchester United.
John McGinn was a prominent figure for Aston Villa as they finished fifth during the regular season in the English Championship before they secured Premier League promotion by winning the playoffs.
Aston Villa won promotion by beating Derby County 2-1 in their final clash at the Wembley Stadium last month.
