Celtic legend Chris Sutton has called on his former club to sell star defender Kieran Tierney at a respectable price amidst the transfer rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal.
Chris Sutton talked about Kieran Tierney, Celtic and Arsenal in a chat with the Daily Record.
According to him, Celtic must not repeat the mistake made when Virgil Van Dijk left the club for Southampton a few years ago.
Chris Sutton said that Van Dijk should have been sold for more money than the £12m they received from Premier League club Southampton for the Dutch international centre back.

Southampton went on to make an astronomical profit on Van Dijk after they sold him to Champions League holders Liverpool for a world-record fee of £75m.
Virgil Van Dijk is the most expensive defender in world football as a result of that transfer from Southampton to Liverpool.
On Kieran Tierney, Chris Sutton revealed that Arsenal want to sign the Scottish national team left-back for £20m and that the Gunners should pay more for him.
He cited new Manchester United signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka who has moved to Manchester United for £50m as he said that Arsenal and Celtic must meet at the midpoint (£35m) between the Gunners’ valuation and the standard valuation as demonstrated by the Wan-Bissaka move to Manchester United.
