Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona have been left worried by one aspect of the transfer for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar according to the publication from popular Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Barcelona are eyeing a summer move for Neymar who’s keen to return to the Nou Camp after his controversial exit two years ago.
According to the aforementioned publication, Barcelona wary of provoking PSG into action over their pursuit of long-term Manchester United target Neymar.
It would be recalled that Barcelona tried to sign PSG midfielder Marco Veratti in 2017 but that backfired on the Spanish champions as it only provoked PSG into action.
The French giants were provoked to activate the €222m (£200m) release clause in the then Barcelona contract of Neymar and the Brazilian international star gave his consent to the transfer.
Neymar was said to have been angered by the events that followed the remarkable 6-1 turnaround against PSG in the second leg of their Champions League clash some years ago.
Barcelona had lost the first leg 4-0 before a masterclass from Neymar propelled the Spaniards to the quarterfinals.
Neymar was left angered by the press who focused on star player Lionel Messi despite the fact that he had more influence on the game against PSG.
