Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defender Daniel Alves has called time on his career with the French giants after two years at the Parc des Princes.
Daniel Alves, a long-term target for Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea, confirmed that his time as a PSG player has ended.
The 36-year-old revealed the news of his exit from PSG via a post on his official Instagram page.
Daniel Alves made the post shortly after he scored for the Brazilian national team in the 5-0 rout of Peru in a Group A clash with Peru at the ongoing COPA America tournament in Brazil.

The thumping win ensured that Brazil finished their group stage campaign as the first-placed team.
The Brazilian right-back would hope to help Brazil win the COPA America tournament on home soil.
Daniel Alves had earlier revealed that he has a lot of options when asked about his future plans in a recent interview.
The Brazilian signed for French giants PSG from Italian champions Juventus at the start of the 2017/18 season and he was a key part of the team that won the 2017/18 French Ligue 1 title and also retained the league title during the just concluded season.
He scored one goal and provided seven assists during the just concluded league season.
