Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has sent a message to the prospective signings of the fallen Premier League giants.

In a chat with the official website of the Manchester United, Swedish international Lindelof told new and prospective Manchester United signings that the preseason represents the best time to bond with the old squad members.

The Manchester United players will resume for preseason on July 1 before they jet out to Australia one week later to continue their preparation for three starts of the new season billed for the second week of August.

Manchester United have made just one signing till date and that’s Welsh international player Daniel James who has joined the club from Welsh side Swansea City.

The 21-year-old has signed a long-term contract at Manchester United in a deal reported to be around £18m on the back of his impressive performances for English Championship side Swansea City.

Manchester United could make their second signing of the summer in a matter of days following the news that they have made a breakthrough in negotiations with fellow Premier League club Crystal Palace for defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Red Devils will pay an initial fee of £42.5m for Wan-Bissaka plus £12.5m in add-ons thus taking the deal to the £55m mark.
