Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly under serious pressure to retain the services of star player Paul Pogba beyond this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to the report from the Daily Mail which claimed that the Red Devils are under pressure from their kit manufacturer Adidas.

The sportswear manufacturing giants want Manchester United to retain the services of Paul Pogba for the new season amidst the transfer interest from Real Madrid or get a player with similar star quality.

French World Cup winner Paul Pogba has been a controversial figure at Manchester United since his return to the club three years ago.

The ex-Juventus star lived up to his billing as a controversial player after he granted an interview earlier this month while he was in the Tokyo capital of Japan.

According to him, he wants to try a new challenge elsewhere after three years in his second spell at the club.

Paul Pogba came through the ranks at Manchester United before leaving the club for Italian champions Juventus in the summer of 2012.

He went on to spend four hugely successful years as a Juventus player before returning to Premier League football for a then world-record transfer fee of £89m.
