40 Million pounds star reveal concrete interest from Premiership clubs
Bayern Leverkusen star Leon Bailey has reignited transfer speculation by admitting there has been serious interest for his signature from clubs.
The Jamaican-born player has become one of the World’s hottest prospects and his impressive displays for the German outfit has seen him linked with a departure from the Bundesliga.
The 20- year-old notched up 12 goals and laid off 8 assists in 34 appearances and that inevitably gone unnoticed with top European clubs now reportedly coveting the prodigy.
Liverpool and Chelsea have been mentioned as potential suitors for the forward and when quizzed about the possibility of moving to either of the pairs.
The youngster asserted that there has indeed been interest for his services from both Premiership clubs but refused to disclose If any of the clubs have weighed up bids for his services.
When quizzed on the admiration from the Premier League duo, Bailey stated to Germany football magazine, The Kicker : “There’s concrete interest.”
“What I can say is that my full focus is on developing myself as a young player, and that’s what I’ll focus on. If a club wants me, my management and Bayer 04 will take care of that.
Liverpool are also said to be interested in Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic and Barcelona newest recruit Malcom along with Bailey.
However, it remains unlikely the club would look to sign either of the aforementioned trios and might only look to complete to a move for Nabil Fekir with reports emerging over a possible last minute deal for the French playmaker.
