Jadon Sancho could struggle with playing time at Manchester United

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has explained why it’s not the right time for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho to make a big money move to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.

In an interview with German news outlet SportBild, former Manchester United striker Rooney advised Jadon Sancho to wait for his dream move to Manchester United.

Wayne Rooney plays his club football for Major League Soccer (MLS) club D.C. United at the moment.

Sancho, 19, was heavily linked with Manchester United at the start of this summer in a reported €100m deal but Borussia Dortmund were reluctant to do a deal for him for at least one season.

The England international star has been a key player for Borussia Dortmund since joining the club two years ago.

He scored 12 goals for Borussia Dortmund as the 1997 Champions League champions came close to winning the German Bundesliga title last season.

German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have slammed a big transfer fee on young defender Dan-Axel Zagadou who’s attracting the interest of Premier League giants Arsenal.

According to the Metro, the Germans would only sell the player if they receive £26.8m for him.

Dan-Axel Zagadou is a utility defender that can play either as a left-back or as a centre back.

The French u-20 international star has already told Borussia Dortmund officials that he wants to leave the club this summer amidst the interest from Arsenal.

Dan-Axel Zagadou came through the ranks at French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) before he joined Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

North London giants Arsenal are desperate for reinforcements defensively and Dan-Axel Zagadou has been mentioned as a possible transfer addition for the Gunners.

Centre back Mats Hummels returned to Borussia Dortmund from rivals Bayern Munich for a club-record €38m and he’s almost certain to relegate Julian Weigl back to the Dortmund bench.
