Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier is at the centre of a tug-of-war between two Italian Serie A giants according to the Daily Mirror.

The 28-year-old Manchester United target is at the centre of a transfer battle between Italian Serie A champions Juventus and Napoli.

Both teams want to sign the England international right-back this summer with Spurs willing to sell him for the right price believed to be around £25m.

Kieran Trippier could end his four-year stay in North London having moved to Tottenham Hotspur from fellow Premier League club Burnley in the summer of 2015.

Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo is expected to leave the Italians for Premier League champions Manchester City this summer and Old Lady officials see Kieran Trippier as the direct replacement for the Portuguese international player.

Joao Cancelo has been at Juventus for only 12 months having joined them from Spanish La Liga club Valencia last summer, but his time in Turin is coming to an end.

The Portuguese defender is said to be closing in on a €50m move to Manchester City as a possible replacement for wantaway Citizens defender Danilo.

Napoli are also interested in Kieran Trippier having already held talks about signing him this summer.
