West London outfit Chelsea have got limited options and quality in their attack with Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain and France international Olivier Giroud as the only options to boast.

Sadly, both strikers are over the age of 30 which leaves the club with Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham as their only options to fall back to.

This is because Chelsea will not be able to participate in the summer transfer window as a result of the transfer ban on the club.

While there are hopes that the transfer ban can be appealed, Chelsea have got their attention on Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi.

It is claimed that Mauro Icardi will seek to leave Inter Milan because of his unwillingness to work under former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte who has just been confirmed as a club manager.

However, Napoli are reportedly set to hijack the deal after it was confirmed that they have joined the race.

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti is reported to be a big fan of Mauro Icardi and will seek to land him in this summer transfer window.

The Inter Milan striker has got a price tag of 100 million euros which Napoli will be willing to bargain in a bid to make a move fall through before the end of the summer transfer window
