Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is set to go on another loan spell ahead of the new season according to the publication from Press Association.

It was revealed that the Serbian player is most likely to leave Liverpool for another loan spell despite his impressive form for German Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin while he was with the capital outfit throughout last season.

The 23-year-old spent last season at Hertha Berlin on loan and he was limited to fewer games because of various injury issues.

Despite his injury problems, £5.1m Player Grujic impressed a great deal anytime he was on the pitch.

Liverpool will miss the services of the quintet of Mohamed Salah (Egypt), Sadio Mane (Senegal), Naby Keita (Guinea), Alisson Becker and Roberto Firmino (Brazil) at the start of preseason but Marko Grujic is still expected to finalise his loan move to his next destination before preseason.

Salah, Mane and Keita will represent their respective countries at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt which starts on Friday evening, while the Brazilian duo of Firmino and Alisson are currently with the Selecao at the ongoing COPA America tournament on home soil.

Grujic last played for Liverpool in 2017 and he has since spent loan spells at Cardiff City and Hertha Berlin who are keen to sign him permanently after his loan deal last season.
