North London giants Arsenal will loan Saint Etienne defender William Saliba back to the French Ligue 1 club this summer after completing a deal for him according to latest French media reports.
William Saliba has been turning heads on the European football stage after his breakthrough season for Saint Etienne.
According to the specific publication from trusted French news platform L’Equipe, Arsenal will sign the £27m defender and then loan him back to Saint Etienne.
William Saliba is on course to become the first summer signing at Arsenal.

The 18-year-old French defender is also attracting the interest of Premier League champions Manchester City.
Arsenal had one of the worst defensive records in the top half of the league during the just concluded season and Gunners boss Unai Emery is keen to address those defensive issues with the signing of quality center backs like William Saliba.
Apart from William Saliba, the Gunners have been linked with other centre backs like Dayot Upamecano of RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga, Kostas Manolas of AS Roma in the Italian Serie A and Joachim Andersen of Italian Serie A club Sampdoria.
Arsenal are said to have made an offer for Joachim Andersen as part of the €55m double raid for him and Sampdoria teammate Dennis Praet.
