West London outfit Chelsea legend John Terry is supposedly ruled out of the job as the Blues manager and he will move ahead by staying put as Aston Villa’s assistant head coach.

The Chelsea legend committed himself by signing a contract extension at the club until 2021 after losing out of the race for Chelsea job.

He was reportedly in line to take the job at the Stamford Bridge, but he is not favoured for the role as Frank Lampard could be announced as the new manager in coming days.

John Terry has been hailed by his superior, Smith for extending his current deal with the club, stressing that it has been a pleasure working with the former Chelsea defender.

According to the head coach, he has been able to have a successful coaching career with Aston Villa, alongside Richard O’Kelly and Neil Cutler as a result of the input by John Terry.

He, therefore, predicted a bright future for the legendary defender in the coaching career as they hope to continue their progress ahead of the coming season.

However, once Frank Lampard is announced the new manager, he will take charge immediately in order to help the team win titles, and most importantly, finishing in the top-four.
